Clarity Fintech Security
Clarity's security model is built on CLRTY-1 cryptographic settlement and self-custody — the platform is designed so users retain control of their assets and keys.
Settlement integrity
Transactions settle on CLRTY-1, Clarity's sovereign layer-1 network (chain ID 1202), using the network's native cryptographic settlement — not an EVM compatibility shim.
Self-custody
Assets are held in the non-custodial Clarity wallet under the native vx address family. Signing happens in the user's wallet; Clarity does not take custody of private keys.
Transport & infrastructure
Public endpoints are served over HTTPS/TLS and fronted by a CDN and edge security layer. Automated audit logging captures money-adjacent and gateway events.
Responsible disclosure
Report a suspected vulnerability to the Clarity security team.
